about me

My name is Lipika Chatur and I am pursuing an Astrophysics PhD at the University of Arizona.

Past research projects I have been a part of span a wide range of topics including galaxy evolution, SETI, instrumentation/detector analysis, as well as preliminary work on brown dwarfs, white dwarfs, and exoplanets.

I enjoy using large datasets / observational data and am eager to expand my skillset to include simulations / theory work.

I am also passionate about increasing diversity in STEM and actively participate in numerous outreach programs.
